Universal Serial Bus (USB 2.0) Type A Connector

I/O Interconnects USB 2.0 cable assembly meets and exceeds all specifications called out by the USB implementers forum.

Universal Serial Bus 2.0 (USB 2.0) brings a new standard of speed to the USB market. These new highspeed USB cables give more versatility to computers and peripherals then ever before. USB 2.0 raises the bar from standard USB topping out at 12Mb/s up to 400Mb/s. USB 2.0 cables are completely backward compatible with standard USB ports, so there isn’t any need to worry that you will not be able to use USB 2.0 cables on the standard USB products you already own.

Test Specifications

The following data was derived from a sampling of 50 cable assemblies arbitrarily selected.

Cable assemblies were “A” connector terminated on a non loaded equalized board to a “B” passive connector.

Raw Cable used was 2 26 AWG & 1 28 AWG Twisted pair. Minimum length not to be less than 3 meters.
